Trust Stylecraft to keep you warm with excitement this Autumn

Stylecraft has unveiled this first of its launches for the autumn season with a fabulous harvest of new yarns and patterns to delight both knitters and crocheters.

New yarn, Batik, has been enthusiastically received by designers and yarn shops, and you can see why.  Taking its influence from the rich and opulent colours of Morocco this yarn is a blend of 80% premium acrylic and 20 % wool has a wonderful soft twist and a painted, semi-solid, effect that looks and feels great when knitted up. Crochet as well as knit were at the heart of the development process for this yarn. Hence the 16 beautiful shades. Stylecraft has launched 9 knitting and 3 crochet leaflets to support Batik – shapes are simple with cables and other stitch interest and includes designs for ladies and children.  Batik is also fantastic for crochet so keep your eyes peeled for an exclusive CAL with Sue Pinner which will launch in September.

Cabaret has been a huge hit since its launch last year and now there are 4 new shades supported by 2 knitting and 2 crochet leaflets. The new shades are called Pink Bloom, Autumn Dazzle, Red Sky, and Purple Haze.

Carnival also has 2 new shades: Paris, Ecuador. As the name suggests, this yarn is a festival of colour and the new shades complement the existing palette. As a chunky yarn the 2 knitting and 2 crochet patterns are perfect as the colder weather approaches.

No autumn launch would be complete without some designs for Christmas and Stylecraft is well-known for its festive offerings.  This year there are designs for ladies, kids (featuring a snowman and a penguin) and man’s best friend, including a doggie Santa outfit. Yo ho ho!

All yarns and patterns launch on 27th June.
