Yarn Stories Launches Trend Collection For Spring Summer 17

Yarn Stories is delighted to unveil a special Tran-seasonal collection of knit and crochet patterns, focussing on two trends fresh from the catwalks and using their Fine Merino DK and 4 ply –  wonderfully soft yarns.

Mimosa Memories features a lightly floral palette of Cream, Taupe, Lunar, Fennel and Primrose anchored with the darker shade of Anthracite to give depth and contrast. Garments are loose fitting but structured, with plenty of attention to detail in delicate textures, light and airy colour combinations and interesting finishing.  The first two designs from Mimosa Memories launch on 14th March 2017

Heritage is a celebration of intense colour combinations found in the rich tapestries and textiles of historic houses. Colours are rich with some surprising combinations from a palette of Fuchsia, Mulberry, Bottle, Iced Teal, Cobalt, Thistle, and Blackcurrant. The designs are also rich and bold with textures using lace and cables showcased in garments that have clean, sharp fluid lines and neat shapes. The first Heritage patterns launch on 21st February 2017

Both collections were shot in the heritage mill where all the Yarn Stories’ yarns are spun, mixing modern backgrounds with the brooding steel, wood and brick of the historic building.
