Wheat Quarter Announces Important Partnership With Peartree Group Practice

The Wheat Quarter Limited and Peartree Group Practice have announced today that they are working in partnership to bring an exciting development in healthcare and wellness to the heart of Welwyn Garden City.  With a strong emphasis on health promotion, the project aims to provide a broad range of physical and mental health services from a single purpose-built wellness centre.

The Wellness Centre will occupy an entire floor of the Civic Building in the proposed Wheat Quarter development in the centre of town.  The Civic Building has been designed by Louis de Soissons, architects of the original Shredded Wheat factory.

Jeremy Fooks, Director of The Wheat Quarter Ltd commented “We are delighted to be working with such a forward-thinking practice. The provision of health and wellness services is an important component of the vision we have for the Wheat Quarter. The new Wellness Centre will have a suite of consulting and treatment rooms, specially designed for practitioners from different disciplines, accessible to all.”

The Partners at Peartree Group Practice added: “Peartree is a well-established practice with a strong commitment to support our community and patients. The aim of this joint venture is to offer holistic healthcare to the community, meeting their health needs and empowering them to maintain their own wellbeing.  Working with The Wheat Quarter and other health professionals gives us a unique opportunity to improve the physical and mental health of the local community.”

Holistic health practitioners, who are interested in the Wellness Centre Project, can email wellness@thewheatquarter.co.uk for further details.
