Wheat Quarter Junior Schools Art Competition Winners Unveiled

The team at the Wheat Quarter, with Judy Glasman from Digswell Arts Trust, were delighted to welcome the winners and runners up in their recent Junior Schools Art Competition to see their pieces installed at an exhibition on Hyde Way.

Children from eleven Welwyn Garden City schools, together with their parents, siblings and teachers, enjoyed a party atmosphere in the glorious summer weather.  As you can see they were keen to have their pictures taken in front of giant versions of their art, as well as finding out more about the proposed Wheat Quarter development in the newly launched information hub.  The art will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
